Preschool screening
My little chicken nugget taking his preschool audio/visual screening tests with flying colors at the district today.. headphones were pretty "fun" for him and during his visual test, he correctly named the letters V,T,O,H about 75% of the time in their example. This was without their prompting or example modeling on which the lady was getting ready to do when he started blurting out the letters, "mom, that's a t, that's a v, o..." Nice.. Proud mom moment there, that he's actually retaining some of the alphabet we've been working on.. Yippe! The screening administrator was pretty impressed that Ben could recognize the letters already without having to have him just repeat what they said as that is typically what they expect.
