Well..., atleast Ben is enjoying his new Christmas toy in some fashion. I did want a toy that he sat down more and played with....
I guess I didn't specify. :P

Ben's random 10 celebrating 10 months.

The little man is growing up so fast. At Ben's last doctor's apt (his 9 month one) he was 18 lbs, 14 ounces and was 29 inches tall.  So here's a random top 10 list for Ben celebrating 10 months!

1. Already walking, started probably about a month or so ago, at 9 months he was walking unassisted, and now, at 10 months, he is running and chasing Alicia.
2. Has 2 bottom teeth, and has 3 more coming in on top! They are just breaking ground now, so that is why he has been a bit of a fussy fart the last few weeks on and off.
3. Just in the last week, he has been more vocal, as we've been hearing more "mama" and "dada" and other squaking and squeaky noises. :)
4. He loves to chase Tanner and play with his tags.
5. He enjoys to "bother" his big sister Alicia, as she is always saying, "I want to play with Ben" but then a few minutes later, "mom, Ben is bothering me and chewing on _____ "
6. Yes, Ben loves to chew on things right now, everything _____ insert in to mouth. Think this directly correlates with #2 on the list, but it is crazy. I hope he doesn't get into a biting phase that's all I can say. Right now it is innocent, but I could see it get out of hand.
7. Ben enjoys climbing up and down the stairs in our house. Yes, it is early to start, but with a townhome, you need to get used to the stairs, so why not start them early.
8. Ben is still on his Nutramigen (a special hypo-allergenic icky expensive formula) :(  We are hoping once he turns 1 we can officially move him to milk... fingers crossed that he doesn't have a milk allergy or intolerance as we've had breakouts and irritability in the past. He tried yogurt at 9 months, but began breaking out a bit, so we gave it a rest for another month or so and have only been introducing small amounts of other dairy instead.
9. Ben loves his grilled cheese sandwiches! He doesn't break out from them, so yeah to cheese, and small amounts of dairy seem ok! He also loves to eat bananas.
10. Ben is very very active and doesn't like to sit much. Always on the go. So I think we can almost officially call him a toddler...  :(

There's an elf on the loose in our house! Day 1 of the "elf on a shelf" - Alicia named him Cookieo. Not sure how she came up with it, but I guess it's a combo of a cookie and Oreo? :-)
