Alicia Turns 5!

Alicia Turns 5 years old today! We had her birthday party at Monkey Joe's on Saturday and it was a big success. (Check out the cake in the 2011 picture... Heather made it from scratch.). I'm sure there'll be another blog on the birthday party/cake. On her birthday Tuesday, we are hoping to go to the Zoo, but weather may force us to head indoors.

The Haney Birthday Parties (2011)

In Mid-May, we celebrated Everetts 2nd birthday and Samanthas 5th birthday in a joint Star Wars Themed Party. Initially Alicia was skeptical of a Star Wars party, but after we bought her a star wars shirt and put her hair up as Princess Lea, she was all good with it.

It was a good turnout seeing some folks we don't see everyday, especially with the upcoming Haney move to St. Louis. But it was good to see Scott/Lisa, and some of their other area friends that we don't see all of the time.

And of course we took pictures, but to save time (as-always).. i'm posting a collage.

Easter 2011

Wow, we are way behind on posts, so i thought i would just throw a collage or 2 of some of the posts up.. and if we ever catch up.. we can fill in more details.

We took a day trip to Elizabeth for Easter. Attended church in Hanover, and visited Joan's Farm and Eric and Veras. It was a quick trip, but was definetly worth the trip.

We met Haley Pafford (Janessa's baby) and had some very good photo opportunities with the great grandkids. As always.. if there are any pictures here you would like, please let Drew know.

Ben's Baptism Invite

I like my blankies...

Ben crashed on floor this morning with his blanket. I think he was even smiling in his sleep here. Ben appears to like to snuggle with blankies more than Alicia ever did at this age..

3 month Curious George pic

3 month size check with Curious George. Ben was being a little stubborn with extending his legs this time around, so I can't really see a big difference from last month via a picture. Here's his doctor stats: 3 month stats earlier this month for Ben were: 12 lbs and 24 inches long, which were up from his 2 month stats of 10 lbs 15 oz and 23 inches long.

Tony and Michelle's Shower Weekend

I just realized that i haven't posted any picks from Michelle/Tony's Wedding Shower Weekend.

Belly sleeper

Well it appears we have a belly sleeper. No matter how many times we put Ben to sleep on his back, he has been finding his way back to his tummy. The one thing is it seems like he has finally hit a better stretch of sleeping and will do about 5 or so hours now at night, instead if the every 3 hours up. Not sure if it coincides with him rolling more and finding his belly is comfy to sleep on or if he's finally hit some magic number. Either way we're not complaining :) sleep is good...
